Hi, I’m JP DAVILA — a photographer and graphic designer from Ecuador. Garabatony is my way of turning real moments of nature — hummingbirds, orchids, nature, landscapes — into pieces that bring calm, wonder, and story into your space.

Why Garabatony exists
Garabatony comes from garabato — a scribble, a child’s first fearless drawing. My son used to draw birds since he was about two years old, and those little sketches stayed with me. They reminded me that wonder is something we learn early — and shouldn’t lose.
I believe a home shouldn’t be filled with noise. It should hold a few images that breathe.
Garabatony is built around that idea: human-made art, born from real nature, guided by photography’s patience and design’s eye.
